Hunters Hill is a master planned community in the southern region of Chino Hills, California. Homes here are surrounded by trails, spectacular views, and inviting parks.
The Hunter Hill subdivision has newer homes that were built between 1996 and 2000. There are hundreds of houses that offer 1,000 to 3,000 square feet of living space. There are many excellent public education facilities such as Butterfield Ranch Elementary School, Robert O. Townsend Junior High School, and Chino Hills High School. Chino Hills Unified School District serves this region. There are several charter and private schools as well such as Chino Christian School, Loving Saviour of the Hills, and Oxford Preparatory Academy. There are many higher learning facilities nearby such as Biola University and California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
There are many parks in this region and nearby you’ll find Hunters Hill Park, Butterfield Park, and Meadows Park which offer picnic areas and playgrounds. To the west is the Chino Hills State Park which has acres of protected land. This park offers camping grounds, picnic areas, and miles of trails. Just across the 71 Freeway is the El Prado Golf Course which features two regulation 18-hole par 72 championship courses. The Chino Creek and the Butterfield Stage were designed by David and Harry Rainville. The club also has facilities for special events like weddings.
The Big League Dreams Chino Hills Sports Park features fields that were created to look like famous ballparks. There are leagues for youth fast pitch, youth baseball, and adult slow pitch as well as soccer. The McCoy Equestrian Center offers twenty acres of trails, lighted arenas, a gazebo, and covered bleachers. There are also facilities for weddings and conferences.
There are many restaurants, services, and stores in this region with centers like The Commons, Chino Spectrum Marketplace, and The Shoppes at Chino Hills.
